Stand and deliver

Why

You have great ideas. But when you stand up to present them, do they land?

Most people who present for work have never been shown how to do it well.

Death by PowerPoint. Ideas lost in a stream of bullet points. Insights swamped by too many words. Opportunities lost through poor storytelling.

Pitching an idea. Reporting updates. Sharing campaign results. Presenting creative work.

If you present regularly – and you know your presentations could be clearer, more confident, more persuasive – Stand and Deliver is for you.

This isn’t a course about how to use PowerPoint. It’s a practical, hands-on course in how great presentations actually work: the structure behind them, the visuals that support them, and the confidence to deliver them.

What

A practical presentation skills workshop that helps you plan, design and deliver clearer, more engaging, more persuasive presentations – with less stress.

Stand and Deliver is a dynamic, hands‑on workshop packed with exercises, examples and practical techniques you can use immediately. You’ll learn how to structure your message, use visuals that work (not distract), and present with confidence – even if you’re nervous.

I’ve been presenting all of my 40+ year career. And running presentation skills courses since 2011. This workshop distils everything I’ve learned about what actually works – and what doesn’t – into a focused, practical format.

Now in two half‑days

The new half‑day format is easier to fit into your calendar, easier to absorb, and easier to apply. The same depth of content. In a more manageable structure.

‘I did your copywriting course a few years ago and it remains the most practical, thoughtful course I’ve ever done.’
Helen, Brisbane

‘More useful than an entire Uni degree!’

You’ll walk away with

• A simple, repeatable process to structure any presentation – from a 5-minute update to a 30-minute pitch

• Techniques to engage different audience types (because one size doesn’t fit all)

• A framework for using visuals, video and audio that clarify – not clutter

• Practical strategies to overcome nerves and handle tough Q&As

Confidence that your content is strong enough to present without reading from slides

• An understanding of presentation tools beyond PowerPoint (and when to use them)

• A better version of a presentation you’re currently working on – you’ll leave with something improved

All tips and techniques are explained, demonstrated and practised throughout.
